Since 2004, MPNA members have worked to ensure that neighbourhood residents have safe streets, an enjoyable and attractive park and a meaningful voice at City Hall.

The MPNA has:
• Initiated the development of a strategic park plan and secured multi-year municipal funding for it
• Raised funds for new trees in the park
• Published newsletters describing the association's activities
• Successfully lobbied to have new stop signs and traffic lights installed at busy intersections to improve safety for pedestrians and drivers
• Sponsored seasonal celebrations in the park and co-hosted the fabulous Skeleton Park Music Festival
